Legally you can only play backup games if you own the original copy. Go to a Website like thepiratebay.org and search for Wii games. They are big (around 4GB), burn the downloaded game to a DVD and play on the Wii.

Hello everybody! i have a litle problem, i finnally bougth the wiikey and i opened my wii but… It is imposible to install it cuz te mainboard of my wii is diferent!!! the MB MODEL is AMW 76121R PLEASE HELP!

I didn’t think there was a new version that had a different layout… I would contact Wiikey and see if they have seen it before, they could probably fill you in on the new install procedure. I guess Nintendo is trying to stay one step ahead…

why do u need the electric tape for becuaze i never use it but

The black tape isn’t a must, check all of your connections again. One is probably not making good contact.

You should be able to Winner. Unless there are some Wii versions that look for specific mod chips. The mod chip maker will be able to tell you that.

hello Friends I have a new Nintendo Wii and i’ve been trying to install my WiiKey. Now the reason why im stuck at where i am is cause i look at every tutorial online and my motherboard is missing some points to solder too. In the location its suppose to go i have the 2 points where the two wholes line up in the Wiikey. I have 3 spots to solder going up and down on the left and 2 up and down on the right. E-mail me and i will send you a pic of what im talking about. Where do i solder the wires too???

I think I have my wiikey installed ok. I was able to run the wiikey 1.9s disk successfully (test and real), and my original games work fine.
My problem, though, is that when I have a homebrew (like the wiikey setup or the GCOS_1.3_Config-USA.iso) running, my wiimote will not connect.
Any ideas?

How do I update my Wiikey chip to work with the new ver of Wii games is ther a disk that i can d/l to update the mod chip I think I have ver 1.9 now. When I tryed to use madden 09 it updated my Wii but wouldn’t work

I havs a Wii box and my son also has one. I installed the 1.9s firmware on one it worked fine, insalled it on other Wii and it went in fine said to reboot, when i rebooted it wouldn’t read backup dvd. Tryed to reinstall firmware but don’t see dvd HELP

Not exactly sure what the problem could be. A loose connection possibly? I would send an email to WiiKey with as much details as possible.

Hi i have a Jap Wii fitted with a wiikey, it was working fine with firmware 3.4j, & up to date wiikey updates, the next day turned on wii to play back ups but the ? screen came up, tried the config disc, & update disc & the recovery disc to all came up with the ? screen, but original jap wii games work, can anyone help???, is the wiikey dead?? or am i doing something wrong?? thanks John
