After getting inspired from Shawn Blaszak’s work whose video is presented below, Instructables member cbm104 tried to create his own Solar Wiimote charger.
cbm104 has presented a nice tutorial that will surely help you to build your own Solar rechargeable Wiimote. Major components used by cbm104 in his build are :
Solar cells – I used 2x 3v 50mA for each remote
Rechargeable battery - A couple of AA type would work but I had a wiimote one with connections on the outside.
Diode – 100mA
Wire
Paper-clips or sturdy wire
